CF-080 LS Hybrid Line Stage PreAmplifier

Advanced input circuitry and volume control circuitry are implemented with our proprietary Direct Signal Path Technology (DSPT). This combines with our low-distortion amplification section using the 12AU7 in cascode configuration to produce extremely fast transient response and clarity. This preamp is the closest thing to using no preamp at all, yet it provides sufficient gain to give music the drive and authority which no passive device can equal.

SPA-4C Phono Equalizer

We are very excited about the superb performance of our new phono stage SPA-4C. Judging from the feedback from early-adopting customers, we think we have a world-class solid state phono stage that can compete toe-to-toe with ANY high end competition out there.   Masa uses rare, vintage Japanese J-FETs for the SPA-4C. They were made specifically for audio applications and have uniquely linear response and high gain. He meticulously matches them and a very few number of them are used in the MC amplifier and equalization stages. Unlike the previous SPA-4B, it is moving coil only and has internal DIP switches to adjust gain and loading for added user flexibility.

These amplifiers represent the fruits of over 30 years' design experience by Masataka Tsuda, during which he has continuously pursued the limits of circuit simplification and optimization in order to attain the purest music signal possible.

The ZL-120V2 represents the pinnacle of our thinking in amplifier design.  It is so advanced that we literally could not have designed it two years ago!

The new and improved ZL-120V2 incorporates the new driver stage developed for the ZL-200. This new driver stage incorporates, among other things, a very high quality, Japanese-made DC-DC converter in its power supply section. Masa and others who heard the V2 report that it sounds significantly better than the older model, with much better realization of soundstage depth, smoothly extended highs and excellent integration of all frequency regions.

The ZL-200 model is also available, 200 watts.
